PLAYING WITHIN THE LINES

Your ambassador link is for your social channels and organic audience only—no discount sites, mass email blasts, or paid advertising campaigns. All content must include proper #ad disclosures per FTC guidelines.

Play by the rules or forfeit your spot on the roster (and your payouts). Commission payouts process 45 days after purchase (after return window) and any refunded orders will be deducted from future payments.

How do I get started?

Once your application lands in our inbox, our team will review your fit with the Bad Birdie vibe. If you're in, you'll receive an acceptance email with instructions to create your ambassador account. Your dashboard will be command central for everything: claiming your free gear, connecting payment details, tracking your influence stats, and accessing exclusive program perks. The entire process typically takes 3-5 business days from application to account setup.

How do I see my results?

Our Bad Ambassador campaign is run through a platform called Social Snowball. You will log in to their platform to see your results with Bad Birdie.

This is also where you will see your tracking link and select your products.

What is a Safelink?

Safelinks are a new type of affiliate link brought to you by Social Snowball. These UTM links generate unique, single-use coupon codes for every shopper when they click on your affiliate link and land on the brand’s storefront. Brands use Safelinks so that you can offer discounts to your audience without the risk of coupon codes leaking to coupon sites and browser extensions.

How do Safelinks work?

When a customer clicks the button in the popup to redeem their coupon, Social Snowball instantly generates a unique, single-use coupon code just for the customer.

Once a customer clicks the button in the popup to generate a discount code, that code will be auto-applied when they reach checkout.

The next customer who visits the same affiliate link and clicks to redeem their coupon will have a different single-use code generated for them. Every customer referred from your affiliate link gets the same discount value, but they each get a unique code.

Important note:

If a customer clicks on a Safelink, makes a purchase, and doesn't end up using the discount code they generate, Social Snowball can still track the conversion with a cookie. Please consult the brand directly to know if they have enabled cookie tracking for Safelinks.

How do I receive my rewards?

Social Snowball is partnered with Tremendous to make receiving commission payouts quick and easy.

Note: You don't need to create an account with Tremendous to claim your commission.

Once you refer a purchase, the merchant can send you a commission reward directly to your email.

Once you click view reward, you will be able to select how you would like to receive your reward. This could be anything from PayPal, to bank transfer, to a Starbucks gift card. If you redeem via gift card, you can access it instantly. If you choose PayPal or bank transfer, it takes a couple of days to land in your account.

Note for affiliates: On average, payouts can take 2-6 weeks to make sure commissions aren't being paid on canceled or refunded orders and that the commissions are from genuine referrals. Payouts get sent in a regular cadence. Not being paid yet doesn't mean you're not getting paid. You get paid when brands send their payouts - weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc. We recommend you follow up with your brand directly for a payout ETA.

How can I edit my name?

Affiliates can log in to their affiliate dashboard and edit their name by heading to Settings>Account Info. Here, they can edit their first name, last name, and phone number as well as see performance and get their tracking link.

How do I connect my Instagram?

You can now connect your Instagram account and share your UGC with the brands you’re affiliated with.

After setting this up, every time you @mention a brand you're partnered with in a post or story, that post will be saved to your Social Snowball dashboard and shared with the brand.

Note: The option to connect your Instagram will only be available if the brand has enabled this feature from their account first.

To connect your Instagram, click Connect from the home page of your affiliate dashboard.

Select the type of Instagram account you have and click Next.

Note: You need a Professional 'Creator' account to connect your Instagram for UCG sharing. If you have any other account type, you will need to switch to a Professional account first.

Next, you need to select whether your Instagram account is connected to a Facebook page. Click Next once done.

Note: Your Instagram must be connected to a Facebook page in order for Social Snowball to verify when you mention a brand.

Now Connect your Instagram with your Social Snowball.

Go through the steps to connect your Meta account that has your Instagram profile.

Select the businesses (Professional accounts) you're connecting to your Social Snowball and click Continue.

Choose your page(s) that are connected to the Instagram account(s) from where Social Snowball will track the UGC.

Note: You need a Facebook page connected inside your Instagram account for a successful integration.

Finally, select the Instagram account(s) that you will use to share your UGC.

Click Save after granting Social Snowball the necessary permissions to track UGC.

Next, go to the Settings tab in your affiliate dashboard to confirm that your Instagram account is connected.

You can now create content to promote the brand you're affiliated with.

Now, every time you @mention the brand's Instagram in a post or story, the posts will be saved to your account and shared with the brand.

You can view all the content you’ve shared with the brand by checking the Media tab in your affiliate dashboard.

How do I connect and promote on TikTok?

you can connect your TikTok creator account to Social Snowball and participate in the brand's TikTok Shop collaborations.

You must be enrolled in a program with a TikTok Shop collaboration enabled to be able to connect your TikTok to Social Snowball.

To connect your TikTok and start promoting, first login to your affiliate dashboard. Once you're logged in, you will see an option at the bottom of your dashboard to connect your TikTok account.

Click connect, and then go through the authorization steps in TikTok. After completing authorization, you will be redirected back to Social Snowball.

You must be a TikTok Shop creator to connect your TikTok to Social Snowball and participate in TikTok Shop collaborations. Learn more about becoming a TikTok Shop creator here.

Once you connect your TikTok account, you will see the products available for collaboration.

Click on View all products to see the products available for collaboration on TikTok Shop and add them to your showcase. Here, you can also check the commissions offered for each product by the brand.

Once you have checked and chosen the products you wish to promote, click on Add to showcase.

This will take you to your TikTok account with the product page open.

From here, you can add the product to your showcase by clicking the two up arrows, and the clicking "Add to showcase".

Once the products are in your showcase, you can create shoppable videos with the products and start earning commissions through TikTok Shop!

Also, every time you @mention badbirdiegolf's TikTok handle in a post or story, the posts will be saved to your account and shared with the brand.

You can view all the content you’ve shared with the brand by checking the Media tab in your affiliate dashboard.
